The staff was amazingly nice. the views of the garden were exceptionally good. the room was compact and modern. the bathroom had a modern style. the continental breakfast was fresh and a plus. Rewritten review: I had a great stay at Hotel En Prive-Wellness De Nieuwe Doelen in Middelburg. the staff was incredibly friendly and the garden views were fantastic. the room was modern and cozy, complete with a contemporary bathroom. I also appreciated the fresh continental breakfast provided.

The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. The hotel is well located about five minutes walk from the town centre. Parking is accross the road.

The decor is rather ugly and dated.

The hotel had a great location, right by the train station and overlooking a canal. the staff were friendly and helpful, and we were able to store our bicycles in the back garden. the verandah was a pleasant surprise and a lovely place to relax after a long bike ride.

The room was a bit dated and could use some updating. the decor was not to our taste, with yellow walls and brick fireplace.

We enjoyed a good breakfast in the garden. We received a very nice suggestion for a restaurant for dinner.

The girl at the desk was not able to give us any information about the city.

Clean place with hospitable and flexible staff and great view of the garden. Fine food for a continental breakfast. Great bed in the small double room, plus an electric kettle, central heating and an electronic key card. Simply perfect and exceptionally nice location, 10 minutes' walk to Zeeuws Museum.

Not very friendly staff!

As women traveling alone, we felt very comfortable and safe in this hotel. the location was fantastic, with the city center and stores just a short walk away. the breakfast had a good selection and the staff were friendly. the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

The hospitality is famous and never found elsewhere. For example: the hotelbar stays open al long as the guests want. In dutch we say: "gezellig" .

Very near to the station. The view from our rooms were also nice. Elevator.

If we could have a water-cooker, it would be more convenient for us. There was no A/C in our rooms, so it was quite hot in the daytime in a hot day.

The hotel is located in a secure covered area, close to the city centre and the train station, making it very easy to access. the rooms are clean and well-maintained, with modern bathrooms. the staff is helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. there is a beautiful courtyard garden and a comfortable bar with a nice atmosphere.

The pillows could be improved.

We did not like the late breakfast. 8.30 is far too late, for those who have activities to do during the day. I would suggest breakfast from 7.30 am. The breakfast was excellent. The welcome was very nice.

The staff couldnt have been more friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I liked the quirkiness of the hotel. I think it says a lot when people from other places used the bar of an evening as "their local" because it was friendly. It is in a great location for all shops, amenities and places of interest. It is great for watching the bridge opening and the boats going by. Something I am sure children will like. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were continually replenishing food. Tables were cleared and reset straight away so it didnt look messy at all. I will saty there again with pleasure and reccommend the hotel to others.

The location was convenient, within walking distance of Zeeuws Museum, surrounded by shopping options, restaurants, and bars.

Close to the train station, the location was absolutely perfect. The place was very close to 't Lokaaltje, where you can have dinner. The breakfast had lots of selection, the food was nice...
